Manas National Park is known for its Project Tigers, Indian Rhinos and Elephants.

Manas National Park is located on the foothills of the Himalayas and a part of it extends into Bhutan. It was declared a wildlife sanctuary in 1928 and a World Heritage site in 1985. The sanctuary is home to a great variety of wildlife including Tiger, Indian One-Horned Rhino, Elephant, Wild Buffalo, Gaur, Golden Langur, Chapped Langur among others. The scenic beauty of the Park and rare wealth of wild life makes it an unforgettable experience to visit.

The ideal time to visit the Manas National Park is during the months November to April. The Park is 176 kilometers from Guwahati and the nearest airport is Borjhar.
